Social values define what's important to us - what we believe is right or wrong, good or bad. Key to our dialog is an understanding of these concepts: values, interests and positions. This group will explore how these concepts affect forest planning.

The above diagram identifies Positions, Interests, Values, and Needs. It is an excellent graphic depicting their relationship. Below I have attached a document that attempts to understand what happens when change is inserted into the above graphic. Let me know your thoughts.
