yes, if we can develop a write up in the text box above, that would be great.  go ahead and post what you have and the rest of us can add our 2 cents as well!

I second Cindy's optimism! Besides... if this group gets deleted, where will I go to find a hilarious picture of baby Judi?

The Sierra National Forest Group is for conversations about the Sierra Forest Plan revision. It is inactive because no one is really visiting or using Our Forest Place. I wish to keep it because I have faith that one day, the website, blog and wiki will eventually work. I can write up a prupose.

i am thinking about deleting this group, since it is currently inactive.  if you wish for this group to remain, please write up a mission statement or purpose or goals or something and post it in the "TEXT BOX" above, here in the group page.  (it's nothing against this group! lol - i am deleting all inactive content.)

Darcy, there is a briefing paper attached to my first message below. It is what Scott and Rebecca have been using. Let me know if you can't get it from the link below.

I suspect that Scott will give an update at the HLA dinner on Thursday.  I will deliver information at a tract association meeting at the end of this month.

Sure!  We can do that.  When do you need it by?

I plan to "conduct briefings" with permittee associations, since they will be asking about plan revision.  Are you going to create a talking points document?

The Sierra National Forest is one of the "Early Adopters" for Forest Plan Revision. We are off and running! Attached is a briefing paper we are using to start the collobration. PlanRevision%20Briefing_Feb2012.docx
